Hi Everyone, I hope you are all staying safe at home with your families and loved ones I am sure that we are all waiting to hear (maybe next week) what the guidance will be for coming out of lockdown and in the absence of any news, I just wanted to reassure you about your workshop bookings. As you know, all my workshops have been postponed while the lockdown is in place and all bookings affected by the lockdown will be rescheduled at some point. I can't offer any dates at the moment as I don't know how long it's going to last. However, I will be offering a choice of dates once we start rescheduling and all those bookings will be valid for a further 12 months from the date the lockdown is lifted. I would hope that once the schools are open again I would be able to resume my classes. I would like to thank you all again for your support and I sincerely hope it won't be too long before we are all back making some glassy loveliness very soon. This is what I have been working on recently. A large, four-panel mosaic for the back of the loo door. I hope to have it finished soon. I also made some fabric face masks for local care homes. If you'd like to make some here is the Facebook Group Bideford Community Face Mask Drive. I am sure there will be something local to you if you're not a Facebook user.
I really struggled to stitch the edges on my machine. There were so many layers of fabric folded over so you definitely need to have a decent sewing machine. Stay safe everyone. I hope to see you soon. x
